Here's what our members are saying about us...
"In late February, the local CBS affiliate ran a 3 minute "public interest" (?) story on 2 women that feel they were injured by a chiropractic adjustment. While my patients trust me and what I do to be safe, like most chiropractic patients, they needed help talking to friends and family members about the safety and effectiveness of their choice to continue getting adjusted.
Less than 2 weeks after the TV story, the In Touch Newsletter arrived at my door with its lead article being a review of the Spine article showing no statistical connection between chiropractic adjustments and stroke. I loved it. It is displayed prominently in my office."

"Voice For Health is so well received - patients ask for them. It is a wonderful publication, entertaining and informative in the right kind of language."
Dr. Gerald Arndt Coshocton, OH
"Thanks for your commitment to the cause and your great Voice For Health publication over the years."
Dr. Robson Timbs Malvern, South Australia
"Continuous patient education is a MUST. The problem is, how do you do this and keep it fresh, interesting, and informative all at the same time? That’s where Dr. Kim Stetzel’s WEEKLY HANDOUTS Program comes in! She’s done the work. She’s created interesting and informative, full color handouts. All you have to do is put them in your patient’s hands and let the handouts speak for themselves! I highly recommend this program for anyone who is interested in growing and maintaining a Lifetime Family Wellness practice."
Dr. George Auger Greenville, SC
"What a great program. With our busy schedule, we didn’t always get time to put out regular patient education. Now, we just print out quality, full color, professional looking handouts on our color printer each week. WOW! thanks for taking the work out of consistent patient education."

Recently I had the privilege and honor of teaching an CA class for my state association. The class was titled "Creating a Chiropractic Experience". Too often, staff has too limited exposure to the profession of chiropractic. Much of the time, our only experience is in the office they're working. The intention of the class was to not only teach and equip the CAs in attendance how to create authentic, powerful chiropractic experiences for the patients IN their office, but to also expand the experience of the staff themselves, to grow the Bigness of this incredible Idea. Some knew THE chiropractic story. They could of course share their own chiropractic experience, what they had experienced in their own bodies and lives since becoming a part of this AMAZING profession, they'd had seen patients seek and experience changes. Some didn't know their own doctor's stories. I invited a few doctors to stop by the class to share a part of their own experience, something authentic to them... a favorite experience w/ a patient, how they came to learn of chiropractic, why they became a DC, etc. I wasn't looking for a 'health care class', another explanation for the CAs to hear of how and why chiropractic is so powerful, but rather real life, real time, relatable, live person account of what they've experienced as an individual who is a part of this beautiful greater whole. One student wrote: "Chiro - Experience class was amazing…the doctors came in to talk to us about their own chiropractic history." So I ask, do you know your teams' story? Do you know the stories of the patients who've been there long before you got the job? We know the importance of telling the historical moments of 1895, but do you 'get' how powerful each of our stories are? As we tell them, as we hear and connect them to the Big Idea, our certainty grows, our authentic and innate knowing is clearer; we create more powerful and effective chiropractic experiences...for ourselves as well as our patients. Staff, immerse yourself in this profession; be a part of this most powerful Idea. |

| New Decade, New Opportunities |
| By Lisa Engle, CA |

After speaking with several CA and DC already this year, I'm sensing that many are evaluating their policies, their financial agreements, their procedures, even their intent. As the new decade begins, this is a great opportunity to look closer at what you're doing and why. Last week, a DC student was in our office. As I explained the procedures and scripts that we use, he was quite taken by the amount of thought and intention that has gone into creating an experience for the patients. I suggest you make a list of the different aspects of the practice and examine the intent (the why) behind them. I'd include the forms patients fill out, do they ask what you want and need or are you using them because somebody told you to? Are you effectively using the procedures to make sure patients are getting all you intend (checklists, logbooks) or do they need to be modified to current procedures? Read the letters you're sending (new patient, 2 week, 1 month, recall, etc.) and make sure they're up to date with your current information, current message. See if there might be improvements you can make to them? Use the staff meeting as accountability to do this as a team. Everyone in the office needs to be on the same page in order to be most effective. One week, make the list and weeks following evaluate, improve, edit, modify, eliminate, refine, etc. It's so easy to get comfortable with "doing what we do" and forget to keep "sharpening the saw". When we're reminded to see the intention in our office, it makes our work more fun, more purposeful, and more powerful. This deposit of fun, purpose and power ripples directly to the experience our patients are having with us. May the coming decade be filled with passionate intention, fun moments full of joy, and purposeful serving. May your work continue to fill you so that you can in turn, pour your love to all you come in contact with, leaving them with a knowing that chiropractic facilitates the expression of love and healing. Always, only my best, Lisa Engle "I am a little pencil in the hand of a writing God who is sending a love letter to the world." - Mother Teresa |
